It’s been about 3 months since I dusted off my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@brainyfaceproject) and it’s been a lot of fun creating content. I spent too much time “consuming” content and not enough time creating… I’ve created quite a few videos in the past 12 weeks or so, that’s for sure. And I’m enjoying it immensely.
Perhaps it’s a bit old school to have a Website nowadays, but I think this could prove to be a valuable companion to the YouTube channel. This will give me a place to share tutorials, lessons, prompts, and downloadable content.
I thought it would be a pain to set up the site the way I wanted, and I was right (WordPress…sigh), but there’s something satisfying about seeing **new content** on the site. The old binarycafe.com site (long gone) had tons of content but I let that lapse several years ago and my backup harddrive died, probably several years ago. Sometimes it’s better to start fresh, so that’s the idea here with brainyface.com; however I did post all of the links to the HX300 Expert Series since I put a lot of work in to that and there are still people actively referring to the content.
OK – so the focus right now is AI image generation. Wow, it’s so much fun! It’s hard to believe that just a few years ago it seemed like science fiction to be able to type in a command (prompt) and have an image rendered beautifully with all of the elements you described. It’s become a passion of mine and I enjoy it immensely. The challenge has been organizing all my prompts. I’m kind of a control freak when it comes to how I want software to work, so I’m writing my own promptbuilder/profile management interface that uses JSON files for precise granular control of the images. It’s incredibly powerful. I’m making really great progress on the application and can’t wait until it’s done, but I’m using the heck out of the Beta version and loving the ability to store profiles. I’m going to have hundreds of profiles by the time I’m done and it’ll be great to share them all out–but why wait? In the interim, I’m going to share out prompts that I’ve been building, in the Promptlab series. But who wants to type in those long prompts? (nobody) I figured I would put in the time for the brainyfaceproject community and make the prompts available for copy/paste here. If you’re here reading this and enjoy having access to the prompts and JSON files, well… I’m glad you’re here!
I have also been entertaining the idea setting up a blog…and since the site is up and running, it’s now live and this post is the first. Mission accomplished… first post complete!
